Welcome to The Shri Basaveshwar Institute of Pharmacy, well established Professional College under the banner of the Shri Basaveshwar Rural Education and Development Trust ® founded by our esteemed Founder, Chairman Dr. Veeranna Mathikatti in the year 2004 to impart quality education in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Honorable Chairman Dr. Veeranna Mathikatti is instrumental in bringing the overall growth of the Institution and the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Shri Basaveshwar Institute of Pharmacy is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, recognized by Government of Karnataka, and Drug Control Board Karnataka, approved by A.I.C.T.E and Pharmacy Council of India,New Delhi.

Shri Basaveshwar Institute of Pharmacy offers, D.Pharm of 2 years, B.Pharm of 4 years, M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology) of 2 years, Pharm.D of 6 years duration and Pharm D [Post Baccalaureate) of 3 years to train the students to high level of technical skills in the fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences. After completing the course, the candidates find placement in Hospitals, Industries, Teaching Profession and Research centers.

Shri Basaveshwar Institute of Pharmacy has excellent laboratory facilities and a unique exhaustive collection of books and journals. It has an excellent team of well qualified, trained and experienced teaching staff, to impart thorough Knowledge in Theoretical and Practical aspects of various professional specialties of Pharmacy.
